Women Rights & Legal Awareness (महिला अधिकार एवं कानून)
Every woman deserves to live with dignity, equality, and confidence. The Women Rights & Legal Awareness Program by Anupama Foundation aims to educate women about their constitutional rights, legal protections, and government welfare schemes. This course helps participants understand how to recognize injustice, seek legal assistance, and confidently stand up for themselves and others.
Through interactive sessions and practical examples, women gain the knowledge needed to protect their rights at home, in the workplace, and within society.
It also promotes gender equality, leadership, and self-confidence, enabling women to become informed citizens and positive change-makers within their families and communities.
We believe that awareness is the first step towards empowerment. By equipping women with legal knowledge and practical guidance, this program helps them build a safer, more secure, and self-reliant future while contributing to a more just and inclusive society.
Challenges
Despite significant legal advancements, many women still encounter barriers that prevent them from exercising their rights. Some of the key challenges include:
- Limited awareness of constitutional and legal rights
- Domestic violence and gender-based discrimination
- Workplace harassment and unsafe working environments
- Lack of access to legal aid and support services
- Poor awareness of government welfare schemes and helplines
- Social stigma that discourages women from reporting injustice
These challenges often limit women’s confidence, opportunities, and participation in society.
